Wax Ribbons Wax ribbons are designed for use with paper labels – these can be uncoated or coated. They should be used in environments where the labels will have no exposure to chemicals or abrasion. Zebra 1600 Economy ribbons: Provide good print performance at the cheapest price. These work best for most general-purpose short term labelling applications. These are only suitable for paper labels.
