CCD Readers

CCD readers – the simplest format in a bar code reader. No moving parts so are very reliable and capable of reading codes which have been poorly printed, even on older-technology dot matrix printers. The gun type readers often have a much greater reading range equal to certain laser scanners and can also read wider codes than the ‘contact’ type CCD readers.
